SAFETY WHEN USING ESSENTIAL OILS. (not essences)

Essential oils are highly concentrated substances that can be harmful if not used correctly. When using essential oils if you follow similar rules to the use of medicines essential oils can enhance your health and well being.

Essentail Oils: There are lots of oils available. Always look for a pure essential oil from a reputable source, it should state the latin name and other details such as place grown, how it was extracted and batch/expiry details.

Remember with oils less is more 1-2 drops is usually sufficient for any treatment and are rarely applied directly.

Please remember that it is impossible to list all of the benefits of an oil or all its contradictions (examples to be aware of but not limited to are pregnancy, epilepsy, blood pressure, sensitive skin....)

Used correctly oils are very safe  but please consult a qualified aromatherapist if unsure. Please always consult a health care professional for any medical problems.
